What Happens in the First Minute of a Live Video Chat?
The first minute decides most live video conversations. This study measures how long first 1-on-1 video conversations on EasyGirl actually last, how often they end inside the first ten seconds, and how often a first match survives past one minute.
Method: timing events from valid video sessions, cleaned and aggregated. No video content is analyzed and no face recognition is used — only how long conversations last. Full methodology →

What it will measure
Duration distribution
Share of valid sessions ending in five length buckets, from under ten seconds to three minutes and beyond.
Median conversation length
The session length that splits all valid conversations into a shorter half and a longer half.
First-match 60-second rate
How often the very first match of a session is still going after one minute.
Skip-within-10-seconds rate
How often a session ends almost immediately — the quickest honest “not this one.”
